no I do not take requests, but I'm always looking for suggestions.  I'm not guaranteeing anything, but if I like the idea enough I might make it.

» can I use this stylesheet/banner/background/icon?
Stylesheets and banners, no. Icons, yes with credit. Backgrounds, tell me which one and I'll let you know. :)

» do you judge people by what they wear?
if I'm meeting a person I try not to judge before I really get to know them, but if I just see someone in passing and they're wearing something they really shouldn't be wearing (like clothes that are obviously too small) then I judge a little but it's not a good thing.

» do you have any phobias?
yes! I'm deathly afraid of spiders, it's pretty bad. Over the summer we had like 3 of those really huge ones in my bathroom, they were like the size of the drain and I was flipping out.  I'm also afraid of never being good enough.

» where do you get the pictures for layouts?
for the stock pictures I usually just google what I'm looking for, occasionally I'll use webshots but now they have it so you can't save a picture unless you're that person's friend so it's kind of a pain.  For celebrity pictures I just google the name of the person and find a fan site and look their their photoshoot images.  Same with movies and tv shows.  And sometimes I'll come across a picture somebody just has in one of their blogs that catches my interest and I'll save it until I come up with something that fits with it :)

» what is your best layout? what is your favorite?
those are such hard questions! I don't think I have a "best" layout, I think I have a bunch of equally decent ones.  As for my favorites, whatever ones I make into main layouts are my favorites, I really like "the world is full of magic" one and the "nothing's gonna change destiny" one

» where do you get your brushes?
I don't even remember.  Celestial-star has some cute ones.  I think I got a few from deviant art.  Uh, I don't know.  There's a list of good sites on xanga.com/pspbrushes though :)

» affies or sisters? vips?
all of my VIP spots are taken and I don't usually let people ask for a spot, I pick my favorite sites. That being said, I would love to be affiliates or sisters, just link me first please :)

» what is your heritage? are you proud of it?
I'm from South Korea and damn proud of it :)

» how do you pick a song to put on your site?
I usually pick a song that's currently stuck in my head, or one that I'm just loving at the moment.  Like the one I have now (Scream by Zac Efron) is amazing.  I love that scene in High School Musical 3 :) I almost picked Can I Have This Dance though because that song is so sweet I just love it.

» What graphics program do you use?
Well for most of my graphics, I used Paint Shop Pro 9. Up until the Love Story layout I think I used PSP9, but then I got a macbook and I don't have Paint Shop Pro on this computer so now I'm using Photoshop.  The graphics aren't really as good as the other ones were because I'm still getting used to it, but yeah now I use Photoshop CS3 :)

» when and why did you start making layouts and graphics?
I started making layouts and graphics in 2005 I think.  At first I started because I could never find any layouts that I liked so I tried making my own.  And boy let me be the first to tell you they were absolutely awful.  The graphics I made with paint, and I didn't bother trying to match colors or anything on the layouts.  Eventually I just deleted all of those and started emslayouts_x3.  My friend Nick had given me Paint Shop Pro 9 and was teaching me how to use it.  Gradually I started getting better, and decided to move to dreamlandx3 which is (obviously) where I am still continuing to learn and hopefully am getting better :)

» where do you get these amazing ideas for layouts?
this sounds really lame, but usually they just come to me.  I have a really bad habit of doodling and daydreaming in class and sometimes I'll draw something I really like.  Song lyrics are really good.  Also movies/tv shows.  I tend to only make layouts of things I like and am familiar with though which is why you see a lot of like One Tree Hill layouts and no like OC ones for example.  So that's where I get a lot of, inspiration I guess you could call it :)

» how do you get so many subscribers?
I really don't have an answer for this.  I don't really go around advertising my site.  My guess is just word of mouth?  I've also had this site for over two years.  My advice would to not send out a million advertisements for your site, a lot of people don't like them (especially when they're like "sorry if you hate advertisements, buttttttttt"), always respect people's comments even if they're rude.  There's no need to cause xanga drama.  Don't complain about subscribers/comments slacking a lot.  Try to make regular updates, and if you can't always add something at least write a message to the people. :)

» how do you get the text to wrap around an image?
put align=left, align=right or align=center after the url, and before the > in the image tag (: if I have time I'll make a tutorial for this.

» what are your general thoughts about majoring in the music industry?
I absolutely love it.  There's a few schools out there that offer it including (if you want to spend a fortune) Northeastern University (which offers a 5 year/3 co-op program), New York University, the College of St. Rose and some others.  A lot of people say it's "not a real major" but it definitely is.  We have to take all the same gen eds as everybody else, plus some legal courses so you're not blindsighted by contracts and all that jazz, plus the fun stuff like History of Rock Music and performance classes.  I'd recommend it, but look into the program the school you want offers.  If you're like me and want to go into the more business side of it don't pick a school that focuses on the performance aspects.

» what are your political and religious views?
I'm gonna be honest, I'm not very religious, and I'm not really into politics.  Last year I got into the presidential election, and by got into I mean I watched a few of the debates, read some stuff online and mailed in my absentee ballot from school.  From what I've said on dreamlandx3, I think it was pretty obvious I was an Obama supporter and I'm proud to have voted for him.  As for religion, I was raised Catholic, but my family doesn't really go to church except for on Christmas Eve.  I don't think one religion is better than another, I think it's absolutely ridiculous that people create wars over this stuff and I think we all have a right to believe whatever we want to believe.

» how come you don't do sub for sub?
I've said this before, but I don't do sub for sub because I would rather people subscribe to me because they like my work, not because I've subscribed to them in return.  I guess it lets me see the true number of supporters I have, or close to it at least.  If we talk back and forth regularly, or I find myself looking forward to what you add next then I'll subscribe.  However if you're one of those people whose updates are sloppy and sends out like 1343245 mass messages a day, I'll probably unsubscribe.  No offense, those are just two things that annoy me.

» Can you teach me to make a layout? Know of any tutorial sites?
I can't think of any layout tutorial sites off the top of my head, maybe createblog.com has one?  And I can't help you because one-if I helped everyone who asked me that's all I would have time for, and two-I wouldn't even know where to begin.  And I'm probably not a good teacher, since I don't often explain myself well.  You'd just get frustrated with me.
